Sell at Radish Farm Stop
We’re looking for producers to help us grow the local food economy
We’d love for you to join us in building a more sustainable food system.
We’re trying to do something a little different here at Radish. We operate on a consignment model which means the producers own their products until sale, and they choose the price for their products.
Radish Farm Stop takes 30% of the sales price and a shelf fee, while producers receive 70% of the sales price for their goods. Through this relationship, Radish Farm Stop is a steward of farmers’ produce and small businesses’ products. Consumers are buying directly from producers, improving transparency.
Operating year round in Minnesota gives our farms an outlets to sell all winter. The interface that we provide between the customer and the farmer also maintains farm identity with the customer.
Advantages to consignment:
Customers are purchasing directly from producers, at prices the producer sets
We work collaboratively with producers to establish their product mix and sales strategy
Producers are able to experiment more with their offerings and trial items like you would at a farmers market
Radish Farm Stop is able to support more producers
We represent every producer carefully, taking care of the stocking, merchandising, and ordering, so you can focus on your products.
We understand that the consignment model doesn’t work for everyone, if you are only able to sell wholesale at this time, we still encourage you to apply.
